Town of Aurora Seniors’ Centre Without Walls – SCWW (Free)
Seniors’ Centre Without Walls (SCWW) is a free community program to support seniors and adults with physical disabilities who may find it difficult to leave home for extended periods of time due to financial constraints, transportation difficulties, and/or health and mobility issues.
Using conference calls and Zoom videoconferencing, SCWW is just like attending a fitness class, seminar or playing a game at the Seniors Centre but from the comfort of your home. The program provides the opportunity for participants to obtain pertinent health-related information through direct access and conversations with professionals from their community, later-life-learning opportunities, participation in brain-stimulating activities, and most importantly, to feel part of a community and the opportunity to create new and meaningful friendships.
Town of Aurora Day Trips (Fee per Trip)
The Town of Aurora offers several day trips throughout the year, including visits to various Theatres (Stratford, Shaw, and other venues), Sporting events, Harbour and Lake Cruises, Special Attractions throughout Ontario, Casinos and many more. Overnight travel opportunities will likely be available in 2023 to destinations in Canada and the United States.
