From Mary McKinnon

For the last couple of weeks I am spending more time on the computer. I am watching an old television series that I enjoyed years ago. I am not normally a television watcher but my son got Rogers Prime for us and I can “stream” old TV shows. It fills an hour or two here and there. I also take part in exercise offered from Seniors Without Walls with Brandie a few times a week.

I play solitaire on the internet a few times a day. I also do a word search (called 24/7 word search) a few times a day. I read library books and I listen to my favorite radio show’s music.

I also go on Zoom a couple of times per week to take part in get togethers with friends.

I phone friends that I have not talked to in awhile. And I wash dishes, etc and do some tidy up most days and go to grocery store a couple of times a week.

I still have family members living with me so I talk to them periodically when they are home.

Aurora Seniors Centre

The Aurora Seniors Centre is operated in partnership with the Town of Aurora's Community Services Department. Its success is based on the Seniors who volunteer their time and Town of Aurora staff. Our goal is to provide programs, events and activities that will benefit and enrich the lives of older adults.
